As their sleepy little body curls up in your arms, it’s impossible to soak in enough of their smell, tiny fingers, and soft little noises. Since we can’t bottle up those moments, the next best thing is to preserve them in photographs.

My newborn style is simple and timeless. I use natural poses, neutral tones, and minimal props so your baby remains the focus of every image. I don’t follow trends—I want your photos to feel just as beautiful 10 years from now as they do the day you first see them.

So how does everything work?

Let me explain...

1 - Lets book and plan

The most ideal time to photograph newborns is between 6-14 days. During this time they are still very sleepy. You can book your session by filling out my contact form or by calling or texting 949-922-7183. Once I hear from you, I’ll send a booking link where you can secure your date and share a little about yourself and your child. You’ll also receive a simple prep guide with everything you need to know to get ready for your session.

2 - On your session day

My Orange County newborn sessions typically start around 10 AM. When you arrive, my goal is for everything to feel relaxed and stress free. Mom and Dad should be able to sit back, relax and watch the process. We will chat and have snacks as we move through the session.

3 - After your session

About two weeks after your session, you’ll receive an email with a link to your proof gallery. From there, you can select the images you’d like to include in your package and send me a quick text once you’re finished. I’ll then add your selections to my retouch queue, and once your images are fully edited, I’ll send you a final gallery. If you’ve ordered prints, they’ll be ready for pickup 2–3 weeks after your final gallery is delivered.

How long are the sessions?

My sessions are approximately 2-3 hours, but I keep things flexible. As you know, babies are unpredictable and every child is different. Some need a little time to feed and settle, while others will sleep the entire time. I’m known for having a lot of patience, so I take the time needed to make sure we capture what we need.

When should I book my newborn session?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It is never too early to book your newborn session. We will use your due date as an initial booking date. Once you have delivered your baby and you are still in the hospital, give me a call and we will schedule a session date for your baby between 6-14 days.

What if my baby cries during the session?

Well, it would be just silly if they didn't. As I'm sure you've figured out babies cry when they need something. This is the very reason why newborn photography takes SO LONG! We have to factor in time for feeding, changing and crying. My newborn sessions are baby led so we let your little call the shots!

Do you retouch baby acne?

Yes, your images will be professionally retouched so if your little one has baby acne (which most do) I will take care of it before the images are delivered.
