Pregnancy is full of anticipation, beauty, and change and it deserves to be documented. My maternity sessions are held in the same Newport Beach studio as my newborn work, with a focus on natural posing, soft light, and timeless simplicity. These sessions are typically scheduled between 28–34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round but you're still comfortable moving and posing.

I keep my maternity sessions calm, guided, and relaxed. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands, I’ll direct you gently so everything feels natural and flattering. The studio is filled with neutral tones and soft textures that keep the focus on you, your baby, and the connection you're already building. There are no flashy gowns or overly styled setups here, just quiet, honest portraits that feel elevated yet approachable. I want you to walk away feeling confident, beautiful, and connected to this chapter in your story.

As with all my work, my goal is to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible. From prep to final delivery, I handle every detail with care and intention. So how does everything work?

Let me explain...

1 - Lets book and plan

You can book your session by filling out my contact form or by calling or texting 949-922-7183. Once I hear from you, I’ll send a booking link where you can secure your date and share a little about yourself and your family. Maternity photos should be booked around 28-34 weeks. We will set up a time to talk by phone about wardrobe.

2 - On your session day

On the day of your Orange County maternity session I want you to feel relaxed and stress-free. Whether your session takes place in the Chasing Poppies studio or on the beach in Newport Beach or a park in Irvine, I want you to feel beautiful as we celebrate your beautiful baby bump.

3 - After your session

About two weeks after your Orange County Maternity session, you’ll receive an email with a link to your proof gallery. From there, you can select the images you’d like to include in your package and send me a quick text once you’re finished. I’ll then add your selections to my retouch queue, and once your images are fully edited, I’ll send you a final gallery. If you’ve ordered prints, they’ll be ready for pickup 2–3 weeks after your final gallery is delivered.

When should I book my session?

My calendar fills up quickly so I suggest you book your session early on in your pregnancy. We will pick a date sometime around 28-34 weeks.

Can we do my maternity session on location?

Yes! I love location shoots and I have an equal amount of clients that choose sessions in studio and on location. I have a list of locations that work beautifully for maternity shoots.

Does the session include my husband and children?

YES! I encourage this! You are all part of your story.

What should we wear?

We will work together on finding outfits you feel great in for your Orange County Maternity session. Once you book, I will send you some links of my favorite places to find maternity outfits and also a Pinterest board with inspo for you and your family.
